Why I Give with Retired Nurse Jane Turner
“It gives me a reason to get up in the morning and to face the day.”
73-year-old Jane Turner, a retired nurse, joined us in our IM360 Studios to talk about why she volunteers for the Foster Grandparent Program and why she is determined to live a purpose driven life. She talks about growing up in Missouri, and going to a segregated school where she had to deal with deep hatred and racial tensions. She says getting a good education saved her, and now she pays it forward. This woman is amazing!
