Stomping the Divots: A Virtual Event
Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding
Every year Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding puts on an incredible Polo Tournament to raise money for their life-changing programs. But in 2020, Executive Director Tori Plennes found herself in a tough spot. Like so many organizations, COVID had forced their annual tournament to be postponed. Yet they still needed to raise funds for the programs.
That’s when she reached out to Phoenix-based Inspired Media 360.
Along with Auctiontainer Letitia Frye, Inspired Media CEO, Carey Pena and JHTR began to build a one-hour virtual program to raise funds.
The team created a look back at the tournament in years past, interviewing clients of Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding, including those with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities, as well as clients with difficult life circumstances.
As part of the program, Carey Pena conducted an in-depth interview with Director Torie Plennes, who spoke about the challenges they have faced to keep critical programs up and running during the pandemic.
When the program went live, individuals from across the nation came together to support the programs at Jackson Hole Therapeutic Riding. Crown Sponsor, the Bank of Jackson Hole, kicked things off. From there, gifts of $5 to $25,000 arrived from more than 300 caring supporters across 35 states.
The viewer’s generosity was overwhelming, and the belief in the JHTR mission palpable. The organization raised a remarkable $300,000!
