Robert Koagedal, L.Ac. Founder AcuHealth.
What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
I am working to combine my love of the outdoors with my training in meditation. I am beginning a two year apprentice program to facilitate leading guided meditation retreats in the wild. I am also studying the effects of light, water, and magnetism or quantum biology on human health.
What failure did you learn the most from and what did you learn?
Failure and success are two sides of the same coin. Without failure there is no growth. I’ve come up short more times than I care to remember. What makes a failure a success is the ability to learn and move forward. Resilience then is the key that turns failure into learning and growth.
What is your go-to strategy in moments of self doubt?
When self doubt arises I rely on the insights of my ancestors and kind teachers who have instructed me to follow this path: great doubt goes with great faith which can only be resolved by great determination. “Seven times knocked down, eight times up.”
Who or what are you most grateful for?
I am grateful for my first heartache and failures in love. I am grateful for my ignorance which humbled me to learn how to listen. I am grateful to have been born in a time and a country that allows me to seek the truth for myself. I am grateful to my kind and loving parents and all my teachers.
How do you recharge?
Sleep, Meditation, Great Food, Walking in Wilderness, Silence, Music, Poetry, Sex, Sunshine, Friends, Great Conversations, No Expectations.
