What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
For our monthly Frontdoors e-magazine, weekly Knock newsletter and daily web and social media posts, we are excited that the Fall season of giving in our community is upon us! This October will be a very special month celebrating cancer survivor stories – something that is very personal to me.

What failure did you learn the most from and what did you learn?
I haven’t failed spectacularly at any one thing but I have been told “no” a lot over the years. And when I get a “no” it usually makes me even more determined to figure out how the heck I’m going to get something done. I believe that everything happens for a reason.
What is your go-to strategy in moments of self doubt?
After a little stomping of my feet (sometimes literally), I like to bust out the old pad of paper and a pen and a make a list, make a plan or work on something that has nothing to do with the issue I am having. It frees my mind, allows the frustration to subside so I can move on to making progress.
Who or what are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful for the wonderfully patient, kind and efficient Tom Evans, my husband. He’s the best father to our son and daughter, he puts up with our crazy pace of life (led by my crazy ideas) and honors our pledge to have date night once a week. I’m so lucky!
How do you recharge?
Each summer we take off as much time as we can with the kids and work from the road. This summer was no exception and after coast-to-coast beaches, a trip to Philadelphia and time with my family, it feels great to get back to Arizona and dive back in to working with all of the amazing charities here

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style. – Maya Angelou
