Having recently completed a new 12 week training program available through my website, I’m eager to get back to writing and creating new content. My three busy kids consume much of my time, but are also my most rewarding job.
What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now? I was a project manager for PING golf equipment, fitness instructor for Lifetime, St. Jude fundraiser, wife and mother of two. All of that changed in 2/2/18 when Bridget was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. I walked through the doors so St Jude on 2/11/18…
“I am involved in the Donor Network of Arizona as a volunteer & I am also a Lung Transplant Foundation Mentor for other Pre- transplant patients, as well as a Lung Institute monthly support group. I do all of this in my ongoing effort to “ give back or to pay it forward in order to honor my Donor.”
Currently working on a wonderful Oscar Party. We are so excited to use this opportunity to introduce Valley Youth Theatre to a whole new group a philanthropists and arts supporters. Also, currently working on our 30th Anniversary Season which will open with Disney’s Newsies.
We are expanding our existing space by 2700 square feet to add not only much needed space, but a teaching kitchen and GiGi’s Playhouse Career Development Program- designed for adults with Down syndrome to learn foundational skills to prepare them for improved job opportunities in the community.
Boston Marathon bombing survivor and creator of Still Blooming Me, a resource for other terrorist attack survivors who are living with PTSD. In addition to my personal healing journey and all the effort it takes, I am working on finding new ways to reach and help other victims of terror who are struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Creating Mindful classrooms and schools in the Balsz District (the nation’s 5th most economically segregated school district) and becoming a Sociocratic organization, which means we’re non-hierarchical and everyone’s voice is heard and matters. We are modeling Mindfulness!
