Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels Hybrid Virtual Gala
Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels
Thousands of families depend on Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels to support them as their little cancer warriors fight for their lives. So, when it came time for their annual fundraising Gala while the pandemic was still a concern, Executive Director Lorrain Tallman decided to do a hybrid virtual.
A smaller crowd safely gathered in person while the event was simulcast to thousands of viewers and supporters in the United States and around the world.
The night was fun and inspiring for all guests both in-person and online.
Lorriane’s mission has captured the hearts of so many as she continues to advocate and care for children, like her daughter, Amanda, who fought bravely but lost her fight to cancer. Lorraine also lost her beloved husband, Marty, to the disease.
In 2019, the Gala raised 375 thousand dollars, and in 2020, the hybrid virtual exceeded all expectations raising 428 thousand. Lorraine and her team were thrilled with the results.
